Hi Robb,

Here's a good link for anti-inflammatory herbs:

http://www.montaine.com.au/enc/en_hb/hb_dt/anti-inflammatory.htm

ginger and turmeric and fish oils:

I was also reading today about stinging nettles being
good, but then misplaced the article. I sure see
(ouch) enough nettles around....if you know how
to process them.

I know FMS folks that swear by doing all their
cooking in coconut oil. Others I know just will
take it by the tablespoon. Dr. Ray Peat is who
the FMS list goes by. Here's an interesting
quote(and incl. breathing!):
"I had put a tablespoonful of coconut oil on some rice I had for supper, and
half an hour later while I was reading, I noticed I was breathing more deeply
than normal. I saw that my skin was pink, and I found that my pulse was faster
than normal -- about 98, I think. After an hour or two, my pulse and breathing
returned to normal."

Some people use emu oil for pain....I have it, but can't
use it long enough in our hot climate to know if it
works.

I don't do any particular exercise for breathing altho
when doing Tai Chi or Chi kung I will do them
according to the practice. I have some audio
and video tapes but find them abit tedious.
I just try to breath deeper than normal. My
favorite breathing exercise is to have a
good loud sing! Maybe Tony or someone
has some good suggestions.
I used to do yogic breathing years ago and liked
it but haven't lately....it would be something good
to get back to....

Hope some of that helps, Kit
