I would limit to 1 milliamp with 7" electrodes and use the 2" spacing up to, say, 25 PPM, but 2.3 ma isn't unreasonable..just pushing it some. You might get away with as high as 3 ma using the stirring...4ma? Not. [depending on how strong you want to go]

Big hint:  Stir slowly to prevent fuzzy buildups on the electrodes.

two silver wires each 7 inch wetted area
spaced 6 inches apart
with a mechanical plastic stirrer in between, set 1-2 inches in the water

with 1 1/2 gallons distilled water
(old battery charger glass container)

All advice and comments appreciated.
