Here's another reason to turn off html.

When you receive spam, it often contains bured commands that send the spammers
your
email address. Here's an example of a <BODY command that forces your browser to
open a new window as soon as you click on the email message:

<body onload="window.open('http://www.instatracker.com/?click/terry/IAB2'...

If you have html enabled, the spammers can do pretty much whatever they like,
including downloading viruses to your computer.

I receive daily all kinds of spam containing various html commands, scripts,
javascript, and web bugs that track your computer while you are on line, etc.
The
spammers can easily identify that your email address is valid and active. The
result is you get more spam.

If you disable html, it should stop most of these commands from taking over
your
computer.

So turning off html is not only good for the silver list, it is also good for
you.

Best Regards,

Mike Monett
