It's an interesting thought that unfortunately will never take place in the NYC
Centers for Animal Care and Control, if only due to sheer number volume. I
pull from many smaller shelters without kc problems but never from these huge
shelteres without the animals having it.

think?? Wouldn't these steps [anywhere where critters are apt to crosss-paths]
maybe keep such meeting places be breeding grounds for kc???
Whadda YOU think?

This is in regard to a pom resuce. Pulled 3 poms into rescue yesterday, 2 of
the 3 have severe kennel cough, the third is getting it. One of two already
with it is to the point of possibly giving up. He is severely neglected (a
stray brought in) - hair matted to the skin, nose clogged with green gook,
coughing constantly, teeth a beyond rotten, has lost at least 3# since was
original brought in shelter on 7/10, WILL NOT EAT. Have tried canned catfood,
babyfood meat, boiled hamburger - Nada. Help.
