  Hi Marshall,

Thanks for the excellent suggestions on killing mold. I like your
trick with the calcium, and would suggest adding H2O2. It seems to
work well with the cs and the combination is much more effective
  than either one by itself.

Yes, I have tried cs in the laundry, and also soaked clothes in it
then dried them in the dryer. This didn't seem to have any effect,
but the dyer heat activated the spores which then germinate from
  body heat.

The trick that semed to work so well was to take freshly-laundered
and dried clothes, apply a mist of high ionic cs with about 25% by
volume of ordinary 3% H2O2. Put the damp material in a garbage bag
and squeeze the air out. Leave it for a couple of hours to allow the
liquid enough time to permeate the cloth, then dry in the dryer.

This has had an amazing effect. The material treated this way seems
to have no active spores or other bacteria at all.

The only problem is my dinky 425 ml generator cannot make enough cs,
so I'm in the process of building a Godzilla version:)

I emailed the company that makes the WallMart dw for this region and
got a quick reply. The Quality Assurance manager said they have not
changed their process, but asked for the date code so he could check
the samples they keep for reference. I should get another reply from
him tomorrow - if there's anything of significance I'll post the
  info.

Best Regards,

Mike Monett
