Killed vaccines would not be affected since they are already dead. Modified Live could be affected so personally I would not give CS within two weeks, before or after, since it persists somewhat in the body and the vaccine takes a couple weeks to reach full effect.
I add about 4 oz per quart to a new batch to jump start mine.
