Yes, Paula, that would be nice if the animals will drink the straight CS. Like
I said, I'm going to try it and see what happens. Thanks for the clarification
about the dog and cats CS list. I really never did see anything about giving
straight CS on that list.

  Debbie,
Some of the more active contributors to the CSCats-Dogs list do indeed
recommend very tiny amounts of CS
for pets drinking water. But over the time I've been a member, I have found
that there are many who simply give their dogs and cats straight CS AS the
drinking water.
I certainly would, but mine won't drink it.
It was recommended to me to use Distilled water if you are putting only some
CS and diluting it, as mixing CS with tap water will form compounds such as
silver chloride, which are 1) less effective than CS, and 2) will drop out of
solution. I think I am remembering correctly.

Thank you Richard and Nenah for your input. I was on the dog and cats CS
list a while back and they were only talking about very small amounts to the
dogs drinking water, so this is why I asked.

I think I will just put CS out for them to drink (I have two dogs), one has
a bad respiratory condition and the other bad teeth, and I think the CS will
only do them good.

    Again, thank you.
