I believe the mechanism is as follows. 1. CS stops pain of burning by tending to short out the nerves of damaged tissue or other mechanism such as reverting to stem cells. This results in immeiate pain relief from any burn. 2. CS causes injured cells and blood cells to revert back to stem cells, allowing very rapid repair of burned tissue 3. CS kills the bacteria, causing the body to quit making the acid, and start neutralizing it.
