I'm not a dentist but I think the decision mostly depends on whether or
not the wisdom teeth have room in there.
 If they will push on the other teeth, they'll present a problem you may
not want to wait to have.
 I once had nearly 2 full sets of teeth because my baby teeth were very
tough.  I'm still paying for not having had them pulled. [But back then, no
one knew that they should have been pulled]
