Have this guy show you the literature on this. Remember that one of the drawbacks of multilevel is that regular people get a chance to participate, and they often exagerate. It doesn't necessarily mean the product is bad, just that the guy may not be properly trained in marketing it. Rely on the written literature that he can get you. If he can't then skip this product (and this guy) until you find one more skilled and knowledgeable. In general, companies that don't follow the proper rules and laws in MLM will be out of business in a couple years. So, if the company has been around a while, in general it should be okay. I guess these have to be researched just like everything else.
