I see nothing wrong with what you say. Maybe the tiny proportion of silver particulate in LVDC EIS is doing all germicidal action - and all the ionic fraction is going to waste. But is this undesirable? Compared to DW, silver is cheap. One ounce of silver (about 28 grams or 28,000 milligrams) can be brewed with 2,800 liters of DW to give 10ppm or less, allowing for the usual losses due to agglomeration and formation of oxides. The silver shouldn't cost $14 but the DW might cost as much as $1400.
On the other hand, most people don't drink enough water every day. Drinking huge amounts of DW with a weak ppm of CS is good for the kidneys, and liver too. Well, I guess the conclusion is that oligodynamism is an amazing phenomenon. And, I better invest in a water distiller. All the best, Matthew
