Deborah -- if your problem is poison ivy (or poison oak), there is a product 
called Zanfel which you can buy OTC.  It's a soap.  Washing the affected area 
removes the oil (Urushiol) that causes the skin reaction.  It's supposed to 
work wonderfully.  I bought a package to keep on hand because there's lots of 
poison ivy where I live, and I react badly to it, but haven't had occasion to 
try it.  It's expensive though -- I think I paid around $30.00 for it.  Still 
cheaper than an office call to a doctor and a steroid injection.        MA
