Nebulizing has two significant attributes. 1. It gets the silver where it needs to be with a reparatory condition. Adding DMSO has its own benefits, and carries the Ag through the goo to the cells that need it.
2. Regardless of treating the ENT and lungs directly, nebulizing has the capability of getting blood levels of silver in the entire body up to those attainable via the IV route, without all the gear, the high skill levels required, the painful pokes, and all of the other disadvantages of the IV route. In addition, if 02 instead of air is used as the transport, you gain the oxygen itself. Benefits from the oxygen are becoming more significant as our atmosphere deteriorates. Oxygen and O2 together have greater pathogen-killing ability than either alone.
