I'm curious as to what you find out.
I do know that Zonealarm interferes with almost any security program or
firewall, and sometimes mail programs.
Hi folks,
The Norton Retail Pak product has kept many a small computer business going
for many, many years. It bears little relationship as I understand to the
full commercial product. I would get rid of it and install the simple and
free products I mentioned earlier.
If you are running Zonealarm on XP it does have problems with the latest
Microslosh changes to XP. You have to go back a version to 4.5.XXXX
Folks, I have a great deal of mail going thru our Servers and tend to
see/find out about ALL the latest viruses real quick (sigh)
I have been caught by a "NEW" one 5 hours before the anti-virus people
could get an update together!
Using www.grisoft.com AVG ( although free for home use is consistently
rated a 100% score by testers) I update daily and every time I wander out
near strange Sites.
The swines who propagate these things ( usually schoolkids) are being given
more and more sophisticated programs to send out and it DOES make one
wonder about the reasons............
Be careful out there it's like downtown Washington after 10pm.
