Be vague but complicated Appeal to fear and hope and avoid facts. Whomp up a presentation or product and 'go fishing'...starting with free meetings in peoples living rooms to hone the presentation and get feedback on what your target is the most afraid of, or hope for, without blowing the presentation on big groups where the fraud word will spread faster. Try out outrageous statements and suggest they are true to get a beliveability factor. Interject a couple of valid points or demonstrate some gee whizz oddity to imply that everything you say is valid. It doesn't even matter if it's related or not. Above all, learn how to point attention away from yourself by vilifying [and/or deifying] something else with 'your' thing presented as a way to avoid or attain. When you get a few groupies from some small presentations, you are on your way to bigger things. They can be convinced to finance your upward path with promises that can't be nailed down. Offer them a cut of something that will never exist but looks like it could be valuable in the future if it did. [Redemptions work well. Make em feel guilty and offer a way out. Veggie Nazis do it and make big bucks selling special beans that indirectly spray paint fur coats.] The more they pay, the more loyal and blind they'll be.
After all, bored rich people don't have much else to do with their time but buy a promise of fulfilment and purpose...or more riches, if that's the hook...or some way to be looked up to. Poor people have little to lose and add validating numbers. [Jim Jones?] In short, define a class of egos and gratify it for profit. Tell em what they want to hear. Take a high pressure sales course. It'll teach you the science of emotional manipulation step by step and how to fish for the gullible. [the poor suckers don't have a prayer because they're so very sure they do] One good tactic is to point to someone who tried to run a con and failed. Ask, were you fooled? [NOOO! the crowd shouts..even though they were fooled before the guy got busted] Then you can't be fooled, right? [RIGHT!, the crowd shouts.] OK, time to fool those fools. You got em pegged. Show em anything as evidence and point out how to look at it. They will believe and see nothing but where you pointed. It doesn't even matter if it directly disproves what you said it means. See Carnicom.com [or is that carnie con . com?] Develop formulated emotional projection skills. Emotional projection is hard to resist even when you know it's being done. [Film formula..works every time even when you know and recognize the formula] Another is the free presentation [Puts bait in the lake] and the paid workshop [defines the fish]. Now, not saying that everyone who does this is a fraud. Just that a lot of frauds do this. Study Slim Spurling [started out of a beat up pickup truck he was living in 5 or so years ago when I met him doing free presentations in living rooms, now sells magikal copper wire pretzels for mega bucks with a 'following' of something like 20,000 which is then used to promote the validity of a bigger following. He might even still be driving the beater and wearing wore out over-hauls.] Dennis Lee [ The most fact obliterating Mom, God and Apple Pie rant I ever heard and term twisting mechanical gee whizzers I ever saw. Quite the 'poor poor me misunderstood genius' show. I go just to watch the performance. He even makes a big show of roughly kicking a disbeliever shill out with security gaurds before he gets started to squelch the dissent of whoever may have the intelligence to voice doubt during the presentation. This guy has sold $40+ mil worth of empty promises to people who can't afford it or admit they got shafted..aka..his best sales people who bought "distributerships" at $20,000 a pop..financing contract available.. to distribute a product that none of them have ever seen because it's TOO SECRET to show anyone or "they" will squelch it. Best bull-shitter I ever saw!] Drunvalo Melchisadick [sp?] [Flower of Life mercaba mumbo jumbo, was making millions last I checked.] Any TV evangelist who mentions the devil or talks like he has a clue about what God says. [was there ever one that didn't?] Ode At 07:37 PM 8/24/2004 +1000, you wrote: >At 10:10 PM 23/08/04, you wrote: > >> I 'could be' very rich and have groupies. >> I know how. >> >>ode > >Me! Tell me!
