Jim - no harder information except a life time of having glycerin coated teeth. And the experience of the difference when I use the tooth soap. My teeth stay clean longer, no fuzz for up to 24 hours. Can't say that for the variety of toothpastes I have used, many of the "natural". One other test you could do is buy some vegetable glycerin and apply a thin layer to your teeth, then try to rinse it off. Or just on you skin. Like I said my dentist agrees with the tooth soap, he has been out of dental school 6 years and is very progressive. If I find more info I will post it, but experience speaks volumes does it not?
Paul-What is the household cleaner that you use. BTW flossing vigorously can be bad for you too, distrubs the gum tissue too much. Removing food with a toothpick or light floss is necessary but the really rough back and forth or up and down motion of flossing is not good for gums. If you use tooth soap that kind of flossing to remove plaque becomes unnecessary. The ionic toothbrushes are great, most dentists I have talked to reccomend them. We have a Sonicare, one I talked to preferred the other popular brand, can't remember the name, but said both are good. Now what we need is a good toothsoap with the CS already in there.
