Since getting my generator I have made about 4 quarts CS. I have 2 different brands of true DW. One that I made a batch from yesterday and today. Yesterdays batch I transferred into a amber glass bottle that a friend had sent me (her home brewed CS) and I have had previous batches of my CS in it. Anyway, I am adding drops of H202 after brewing. This one turned and stayed somewhat milky. The one I just brewed today had quite a few floaty stuff in it, I didn't wipe the electrodes with this batch and when I added the H202, it turned yellow. I didn't strain the batch as it doesn't bother me and I don't have anything sterile to filter it with. I am assuming all this is normal and ok?
I try to only touch the electrodes with paper towels and not fingers and clean with distilled water and rinse the jar with DW. So I don't think things are contaminated??? Anyway..I live in Washington state. Anyone know of a quality distilled water? I don't have a clue if the 2 different brands that I have used were "good" or not.
