I bought the $99 distiller too. By coincidence, this wholesaler is located only a few miles from my home. Neighbors and co-workers bought from this vendor and are pleased. I intend to catch rainwater and distill it, to avoid residues and/or volatiles from hard, chlorinated municipal tapwater. The result may be close to double-distilled water, at less than the cost of single-distilled DW from retailers vending products of uncertain quality.
