Evening Sol,
>> Still have the cough. Still no secondary infections.
I hope you did not overlook Cayenne Pepper and Honey. While this
works as a cough suppressant, it does much more.
About two weeks ago, I had a bug like about 500 other people around. I had
a fever of 102 for about 36 hours.
When I felt the worst, 3 tsp of Cayenne Pepper, Honey, and lemon juice
would actually make me feel better.
I went thru so much of this stuff, I was worrying about an overdose. Not
the honey and lemon juice, but the Cayenne Pepper. Still not sure what is
the Max Daily Allowance, but it is a LOT.
Most people overlook increasing the Vitamin A at times like
thiol. Vitamin A effects the quality and quantity of mucous.
It is not considered a massive dose until you hit 400,000 units per day.
Often it takes 50 to 100,000 IU to get the mucous working again.
I learned this the hard way about 35 years ago. I had a corncob throat for
six weeks. Then it hit me,
Vitamin A effects the quality and quantity of mucous production. I took
100,000 units and within two hours my throat was slick, for first time in
six weeks. Often we don't even use and practise what we have learned.
If Vitamin A MAX and Cayenne pepper MAX don't help, you are in a world of hurt.
The ratio of the pepper, honey, and lemon juice is not critical. A good
starter ratio is, Two or three tbs of honey and one tsp of cayenne. Juice
or 1/2 or one whole lemon. Then, make it stronger until you start looking
for the fire extinguisher.
You could grind up the whole lemon. Often I mix a bottle of this, then
simply drink it our of the bottle.
In this recent battle, I had the cayenne so hot, I had to chase it with
pure honey.
I did survive both the bug and the cayenne pepper. I don't remember the
volume of CS. I finished one gallon and had to make another.
