Hi Paul, I have heard of NLP and actually did some brief research on it. I also tried to find someone in my local area (Richmond, VA) who specialized in NLP and could find no one. I've spent so much money on therapies - traditional, hypnosis, books, tapes, you name it - that I guess I was (and am) feeling like nothing will work for me. I am intrigued that you were able to cure someone that had had a phobia since childhood. That has been my struggle - that because I have had this for so long (as I said, 30 years), that I feel it is just so deeply ingrained in my psyche that there is no hope of ever pushing it out. I'm also very strong willed and have major control issues, so it seems like most therapies just won't "penetrate" for me.
I am absolutely going to read up on the site you sent, however. I'm willing to try most anything! Thank you very much for the info.
