I think that might be due to CS being so cooling. Anything so sooling can
cause the diarrhea to stop and may cause constipation if taken too long
and in the right doses.
I hope this is the case for my 2 year old who has had diarrhea for going
on 3 weeks now. He is otherwise fine so I am really stumped about

Why not follow the ancient advice "to do least harm"? Why not immediately
look at what your child is eating? 99% of the time it is more likely to be
something being eaten rather than anything else and this is easiest and
quickest to check. Has anything new been added to his diet in the last month?
Just as vomiting is the body's first reaction to severe toxic intake it
recognises, diarrhea is the second stage of the body attempting to get rid
of toxicity/infection that sneaked through check 1.
Remember, today, with all sorts of chemical cheating available to food
processors, you can be fed the most toxic junk disguised by sugar,
radiation, perfumes, flavouring etc that can fool your body defences.
3 weeks is a very long time for anyone, much less a child to have this
problem and it is pretty needful of qualified attention a.s.a.p. Any
well-trained Naturopath can help with least damage.
At least by your description though, he is doing ok aside from this and
this really indicates diet.
