Brooks' airbrush nebulizer was a clever adaptation of an inexpensive 
artist's airbrush to an oxygen tank (or clean oil-less compressor) as 
an alternative to commercial nebulizers. It actually produced a finer 
vapor and, when run with oxygen, achieved better results than with air.

As for Lea Ann's nebulizer, if you follow the link she posted (several 
times) and look at it, you'll discover that it is based on a 25 psi, 10 
liters per minute air compressor, and is a proper medical device with 
all the necessary pedigrees.

Nobody in this thread is talking about ultrasonic humidifiers.

At this rate, even I am going to start having doubts about us pretty 
soon. <sigh>
