Since you know where the cold sore is going to break out,
how about just applying a dab or spray of DMSO/CS directly
on this area daily, say, right after shaving (for DH ;-)).
You would only have to do it 365 times in a year and could
probably prevent any breakouts...

Getting CS or CS/DSMO on the spot before the blister(s) erupt can only work
if the person does get the nerve warning. When the nerves are damaged and
don't send that warning signal, the first sign the person gets is the
blister(s). Once they have erupted, it does take longer, but the time of
the sore is still greatly shortened and healing is greatly speeded up by
the CS/DMSO. With my husband, for instance, when the nerves worked, he was
able to stop the virus before it reached the skin surface, and he didn't
actually ever get a cold sore break out for about 20 years. And that was
just using the supplement protocol at the first tingle. No CS as we didn't
know about it then.
