Why or why not? ## CS works completely differently from antibiotics and the bodies immune system. To my way of thinking, CS shold be used to enhance the immune system when it is being overwhealmed. It might not be a great idea to 'replace' your immune system. Everything that's to remain strong should be excercized...but exercize too much and, weakness again. > >I have heard comments from several friends about colloidal silver having a >shelf life or losing its potency. Otherwise, I have yet to find a shelf life even in samples stored in clear glass on a sunny window sill for several years. CS made only with distilled water and pure silver is NOT light sensitive. CS made with salt or baking soda IS light sensitive.

Saliva backwash from chugging straight from the bottle sometimes makes a batch go purple after a few days..household cleaner overspray..air fresheners..dishwasher anti spot agents, soap residues etc There may be bleaches or something on a cotton ball or Q Tip.
