If particles aren't useful, they won't get used. If only small particles can get in to BE useful, large ones don't get 'in' and needn't get 'out'. They'll just pass through. The 'body' has it's own reverse osmosis filters.
Silver oxide that isn't dissolved stays on the electrode unless blasted off or made 'in the water' with too much current or it gets thick enough to fall of. If it is blasted off or falls off, it settles out after a while. If it is made 'in the water', that can take a few days to settle out. If it's big enough to settle, it's too big to get 'in'..and needn't get 'out'. If it is dissolved, a filter that doesn't get EVERYTHING, won't get that either. A 'Britta' activated carbon filter or a resin type ion exchange filter 'pretty much' gets everything. Anything short of that, like a coffee filter, gets virtually nothing that's not already headed to the bottom and little of that. If a particle is small enough to get 'in', a plain filter won't get it out of the Silver Water. Let it sit for a day or so and decant..works far better than filtering.
