Everything is relative (referring to Ole Bob's comment that is a frivolous OT topic and of no concern). If it hadn't been of concern to me, I wouldn't have mentioned it. But I should have posted to the OT list from the start.
sol I for one have thoroughly appreciated the thread, and people have brought up info that I'd heard of vaguely but couldn't remember. If the whole thing had been conducted on the OT list, I simply wouldn't have seen it. I'm glad to have the information that has come up. Metals are often discussed here in the way of noble metals, and ignoble metals feature in our lives even more than those, I think. Or heavy metals. I got info on the materials in Stainless Steel that I'd forgotten, and now have somewhere to check for that info if I need it. Same with the glass saucepans. Now I'm intrigued with the ceramic pots, but I'll go and google for more info on those. Having this evening boiled our veggies dry and having a crust of black carrot/swede/sweet potato/pumpkin mix to clean off our s/s pan tomorrow. Or some time. Or not. Bins emptied tomorrow!
