All of the larger inverter systems have these, and even most of the small ones.
Usually they are very fast and work at 10.5 volts. ( if a 12 Volt System )

Some of our better circuit designers on here may already have an effective circuit.

Either solid state relays or mechanical relays must have the capacity to match the load with a decent safety factor.

Many people misunderstand electrical codes. Typically, this is the absolute minimum that is safe and effective. Proper Design serves to protect the investment in wiring and equipment.

Also, code books state, "This is not to be used as a design manual by untrained people".
