Mike- A few years back I went through the allergy testing routine. As time went on my allergies got worse. I never took shots. I am now free of allergies.
The high spots: First thing that showed me that allergies could be beaten was raw honey; it works but it's not enough. That happened about 3 years ago. October '05, allergies were not terrible anymore but came to a literal overnight halt by taking colostrum. Allergies are caused by bowel dysbiosis, candida roots, through your gut that allow the wrong proteins to pass through, and eating grains. I have absolutely stopped eating grains. No bread, no dessert, no cereals nothing, zip. The simple MWO caused crusty matter to drain out of my upper sinuses. I made my own apple cider from Eden Foods organic concentrate, spiked with kefir whey; after three successive 3-day brewing generations, it was really good stuff. It spawned a culture in my throat that moved into my sinuses and out to my ears, itching like crazy for two days. There was something in there that it was feeding on. When the new culture ate all of whatever the old culture was, the new culture died out too. That was about 2 weeks ago. I surmise that the cider has sent that same culture to my gut to eat candida. That's what you're doing when you take probiotics- eating good microbes that will eat your bad microbes. The final result is that my nasal passages are now naturally moist with the least stents and drainage that I have ever had in my life. Not even one little sign of an allergic twitch, even when I drink red wine, which used to give me vertigo. I have recently had a spot to heal on my slightly deviated septum, a spot that stayed raw or nearly so for many years from my constant efforts at keeping my nose clean.
