Thanks, Pat. The thimerisol question is one that I have as well, plus just what sort of effect you're having on the immune system with whatever it is they're inoculating you with.
What are allergy shots? You get a "scratch test" where they put a little bit of dozens of allergens in a grid on your back and see which ones cause a welt. Then they take the ones that are most severe and make up a serum for you that includes these. You get injected with small amounts of this once or twice a week for months at a time with the hope that your reaction to the allergens will diminish with repeated low level exposure. Some sort of tolerance builds up, I suppose. My wife and son are both on these. Son had a reaction last week where he itched, broke out in bumps all over and was knocked back for a day or two, even after a hefty dose of benedryl took the symptoms down. It was very uncomfortable for him but he was not having any respiratory issues, so we didn't panic but just watched him closely until he was better.
