Sugar works too. The elderly father of a friend of mine has leg ulcers
that have not responded to other treatment, but are healing well with
sugar. I do not know exactly how it is being used. (I sent her some CS
and she mixed some with DMSO for him, but he refused to use it).

There is a "Medical Honey" sold here in Australia, but as my dad used
to be a commercial beekeeper, he used to laugh at that idea as he said
that all honey is suitable, as long as it was extracted properly and
not overheated.
