Is there a way to reheat food in these types of ovens? My children and I eat earlier than my husband because he doesn't get off work until late. So he heats up what I made for the rest of us in the microwave. I have concerns about this but don't know of another option.
Well, Shelli, you can use anything to reheat food, even your big oven. At the same time using scads of power and possibly even drying out the food. I only have the "ordinary" table top oven, not the FIR, but certainly you can reheat food in that, or keep it warm on a low setting. You could also set the covered plate on top of a saucepan of hot water to keep warm. The little oven may not be as instant as microwave, but it's quicker and cheaper than a big oven.
