Oh, I see. That makes sense. My CS goes quite yellow with water of about
1.5 uS. The last commercial DW I bought locally read 6.7 uS. Which is
why I distill my own (double distill). If I could get CS only slightly
tinted with any commercial DW I can get here, I would not have needed a
still of my own.

The best DW I have found here is Glenwood Inglewood brand at about
1.3uS.
That makes pretty good CS but using a SilverPuppy I still get a product
that has a slight tint, just off colorless. Cub Foods brand is OK at
about 1.5uS.
