No kidding?  I didn't see the race, just the recaps showing only the 
aftermath.  If your mother could see that limp, I seriously question why the 
owner and 
trainer didn't see it and why the jockey couldn't feel it.  Trust me -- when 
a horse is just the tiniest bit *off*, an experienced rider can feel it.  And 
those jockeys are more experienced than most.  If it's true that the horse 
came into the race limping, that's just the saddest part of the whole mess.
