Hi Sickleave48045, Another thing to watch on dryers is the ventilation, if you have a pretty tightly sealed house then air flow can be a problem, a dryer is vented to the outside and it needs a contiuous supply of fresh air to do this, if it is in an air tight room it will stop the flow of air and the heat will build up real fast, I would say this is probably one of the main causes.
