Hi everyone:
As part of my daily routine, I start my day by drinking some ascorbic
acid powder (vitamin C) dissolved in water (through a straw, to
protect the teeth). Today, after drinking my vitamin C, I used the
same straw to stir a fresh batch of CS I made in a glass...and the CS
turned cloudy brownish-yellowish-silver'ish. A laser beam will show
well through it even in daylight.
It's obvious a chemical reaction took place between the CS and the bit
of ascorbic acid left in the straw. My guess is the acid got the
silver particles to 'stick' together to make bigger particles, but I'm
no expert. I'm wondering if the potency of the CS was affected and if
there is any cause for concern if I consume it.
Thanks,
Maryau.
P.S. If this was answered in another post, please forward me the
response as I do not keep an archive of all the posts. Thank you. :)
