Hi Richard,

Debbie, in this part of the world ie Europe they are known as cranial osteopaths and they specialise on the neck area and often spend a lot of time working with children ( 40 % of children are apparently born with their necks not quite right ) and are very gentle , using the acupressure points rather than manipulation. But if you were to find a great cranial chiropractor - it may be the same thing where you are - give it a try as the results can be amazing. good luck .Richard p.s not sure what a D.O is !

The name for the methodology is Cranialsacral Therapy and it's founder and home page is here:

FWIW, D.O. is Doctor of Osteopathy (basically an MD + Chiropractic), used to be a really good alternative to traditional MD's but, based upon my experience, they have been so needy for acceptance that they look at you somewhat askance when asking them to do spinal adjustments. I no long use the ones I did. Your experience may vary. The older one that I had, who retired, was great.

FWIW,
