Comfrey (Symphytum officinale), also called boneknit,
in form of tincture or a poultice. A friend of mine was in
pain after a meniscus surgery. His knee showed some
swelling and a tender spot. I gave him some Comfrey/Arnica
tincture which he mixed 50/50 with water and soaked
a cotton cloth with, wore it overnight, and was painfree
in the morning (comfrey helps reduce inflammation and
swelling). To help heal bones, one also should take
comfrey internally, but not for a great length of time, as
they found it could harm the liver.

Hope this helps.

Does any one know what would be good to take to help heal broken bones. A friend of mine had knee surgery to replace a ligament when they did this they used a piece of his knee cap. Yesterday he had a small accident and had to run when he did he felt something pop He went to the Drs. and found out that he cracked his knee cap. What can we use to strengthen his bones in his knee.
