Vita mix is not a juice extractor, it turns the whole food into a liquid which may or may not require
thinning with water. I love my vita mix , but not for juicing. I prefer an extractor for that. Sorry thats
JMHO. I can't stand the taste of the juice from my vita-mix.

Susan can you use the vita mix the same way as a juicer? I thought that a vita mix was just a high powered blender that crushed ice and fruit. Does it work as effectively as a regular juice extractor? I have been wanting to buy a good juicer but find them so cumbersome. sol, have you ever had a test with contrast dyes? I told a tech that I was allergic and she told me that I had no choice and that i would need to take appropriate measure like steroids or benedryl to offset the symptoms. I choose not to have the test.
