Hello Nik and Mark, First of all, thank you both for your feedback.
@Nik: I used to develop several websites with Exhibit API(feeding with JSON). Basically, our databases are build from Protégé and we manage to output the data in a JSON like format to read it into Exhibit. My idea is to go one step forward and I would like to investigate wether or not we could be able to directely add a connector to read data within Exhibit. @Mark: Thank you for making researchs on this topic. I was also thinking the same. It confirms what I had in mind. In the case of some people would like to connect Sesame with a MS SQL server, feel free to keep me inform on this subject (which is interesting and should find interests for many companies) Regards, Brice 2012/11/27 Mark Baker <[email protected]> > On Wed, Nov 21, 2012 at 5:26 AM, Brice Sommacal > <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hello, > > > > A colleague of mine asking me if Exhibit 3 Staged could be connected to > a MS > > SQL database. > > > > I read that the staged version is fed from semantic format like RDF, OWL, > > N3. > > And from an older post, that we could implement new connectors to feed > data > > from a MySQL database. > > > > Could you please validate or invalidate the fact that a MS SQL database > > could be used as input data? > > After a bit of digging, it seems the answer is probably along the > lines of "yes, if you're prepared to do the work".
