I run a stack of six 7200/120's with a combination of LinuxPPC (for various servers) and Mac OS 8.x (for SIMS and IPNetRouter) with *zero* stability problems. The last 7200/120 I bought on eBay cost me $40; they're regularly available for less than $100. Though I was initially reluctant to split my Web servers off from my MTA, it all works so well and is so stable that I'd recommend doing that before messing around with MOL, although the latter is probably a viable solution. I don't run any GUIs on my Linux boxes, which frees a *huge* amount of resource for running the servers. --Ron -- Ron Risley || Fresh Baby Pictures Added Daily!
