I have linuxppc running on a 7200.. very stable (pushing 100days). I do NOT have Xwindows on that box, though. I was not able to even get the installer to run on my 9500 with a 400MHz NewerG3 card. I think it may be the Adaptec SCSI card. But I was just testing.
