To what level should I increase logging to see all? Actually, I just copied the users folder from the old to the new machine, so the information of passwords stored in the user file should not have changed (and otherwise, I would not be able to read my mails anyway). > I've beta tested some clients that tagged errant text to >the end of one field or the other and tripped up the authentication. And i did not change anything in my Eudora settings, so this should also be correct (I hope). > Also >are your APOP settings on the client and server in sync? What do you mean here? Eudora has the following options for each identity: username: my id before the "@". mail host: mail.rumantsch.ch smtp server: mail.rumantsch.ch Allow Authorization: checked return address: my full address Send mail on manual checks: checked Send mail whenever sends are done: checked More checking mail: Mail protocol: POP Authentication: Passwords (here is also APOP present, but it says that it applies to "checking mail") > >Did send after check fail too? Send wafter check works, but it is cumbersome. Thank you, Christian. -- Christian F.
