I have set up a new mail server using SIMS 1.8b9d9 to replace the old one (was with 1.8b8, I think).
In the SMTP options, I have the following settings: Sending Options TCP channels: 25 Retry every: 30 minutes via foreign mail server (our ISP's) Receiving options TCP: 25 AppleTalk: 0 Host Channel limit: 10 Advertise AUTH capability: checked Allow ETRN for clients only: checked For 45 secs, autheticated IPs are treated as Client ones. Anti-Spam options Relay for clients only: checked; internal IP address range (172.x.x.x...) Verify return path: checked Blacklist DNS servers: not checked, none indicated However, if I come from outside (and have "allow Authorization" checked in Eudora), I cannot use SIMS to send the messages (sorry, we don't relay). I have a valid password, of course. What did I miss here? Christian. -- Christian F.
