"As soon" is overstating it a little. How often a mail server retries to deliver mail is configurable. Many mail servers retry every 30 minutes. Others start at 30 and then go to increasingly longer periods the longer a piece of mail can't be delivered. However, any mail server that does not automatically retry at some interval and instead waits forever is misconfigured. A thought just occurred to me: this backup server needs to be configured to relay the mail to you. If it's delivering the mail to its own mailboxes with the same usernames as you have, then it's not configured correctly for what you're trying to do. -- Larry Stone [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.stonejongleux.com/ ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
