Here's our network scenario.

1 eMac 700mhz, OS X.1.4
2 Blueberry, OS 9.1, 9.2.1
2 Bondi, OS 9, 8.6
1 WinXP
2 Win95
3 Win98
1 16-port 10/100 switch
2 8-port 10/100 switches
1 Cisco 1600 router

Running peer-to-peer, with PCMacLAN loaded on the PCs for file sharing.

Protocols loaded include NetBEUI, TCP/IP, NDIS (PCMacLAN), AppleTalk.

The SIMS box is a Bondi with 192MB running 8.6. I am running Macjordomo,
SIMS, NetPresenz and Web Sharing on this box.

The problem I have is that it keeps freezing up and SIMS seems to be the
application that is causing the problem. I have checked on many occasions
and I load up Communigator on startup so that I can open the SMTP and POP
monitors on screen. I can visually see SMTP connections being made, but the
machine's cursor will freeze during the connection.

I am at a loss for what the problem could be. I tried checking all my
hardware, ping checking all the NICs and devices and all checks out OK. I
can get to the website fine from our LAN and outside. I have yet to see the
machine lock up on anything other than SIMS.

I'm running version 1.8b9d14.

I just don't know if there's a configuration problem on my behalf or what.

I saw a post about TCP/IP channels on here a while back, so I increased the
number of channels for SMTP and POP traffic.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my lack of knowledge here.

Chris
