Just for the lists information (and perhaps someone can clarify my confusion...)
The problem ran a bit deeper. Its fixed now. What happened was that I had an old nameserver record registered with verisign that was the same as my mail server name. (ns1.ehg.net). Though this name server is not in use anymore (not primary or secondary) it some how must get accessed from the outside. After I changed the name server record to the correct IP, We Can now use it to send/recieve mail. I guess I didn't think the record would be touched if it was no longer a used nameserver. ??
