Is there an easy way to move a fairly large number of accounts (several thousand) from CGpro to SIMS, or am I out of luck?
Rather than move them, just place SIMS between the world and CGPro. Give a SIMS box the high priority and eliminate the MX record for the CGPro box. Set SIMS to forward all mail to CGPro box:
domain.com = [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or whatever the proper syntax is)
That would defeat the anti harvesting mechanism of SIMS... it would accept all mail (SPAM) for relay. Anti harvesting has to be done on the machine with the local accounts, and it to be truly effective, there shouldn't be a backup MX box for the domain that's being protected.
