At 11:32 AM -0400 8/20/03, Stefan Jeglinski imposed structure on a stream of electrons, yielding:
No, it will only avoid the problems with SPEWS data, the local Osirusoft 'spamsources' list, and whatever the .5 and .6 codes are sourced from.

I tried going to osirusoft to answer my question but it is not accepting connections now. So: sorry if I missed this, but do osirusoft's current problems extend to their mirror of the spamhaus relay list as well? [spamhaus.relays.osirusoft.com]

Absolutely, especially since Steve Linford stopped feeding Osirusoft at all 10 days ago. See

Osirusoft's current problems seem to be having effects in everything they do. It is rumored that the root cause of the trouble is a massive DDoS attack on their machines, but that would not (or at least SHOULD not) explain the apparent use of very old data in some of the blacklist zones or the domain reg phone number being out of service. I am a little concerned with Joe's well-being, because it seems that if anyone at all is running Osirusoft, it is someone who no longer is rational.

In addition, it should be noted that currently only 3 of the 9 supposed authoritative nameservers for relays.osirusoft.com are responding for the zone, 2 with a 5-day-old serial number and one with a 10-day-old serial number.
