Well, you have to be able to control something.
If all you have control over is the configuration of the UA, then you need to work 
with that.

Perhaps you could change it to treat your box as the outbound proxy for the UA. If you 
can proxy the REGISTER messages from the UA, then you could potentially hack the
REGISTER, replacing the contact address with one that references your proxy again.
