The IANA registry list of response codes currently defined by standards
track RFCs can be found here: http://www.iana.org/assignments/sip-parameters I'm not sure what is meant by "standard" SIP application below. AFAICS, a UAC compliant with RFC 3261 will interpret any unrecognized response the same as the x00 response code of that class (see Section 8.1.3.2). Steve Agung Prihanggoro wrote: well, if SIP are "extensible" as it said, then you can define your own response codes. If you use JAIN-SIP, then try to edit SipResponse.java on jain-sip\src\gov\nist\javax\sip\messagebut, please notice that your custom response codes won't work with other "standard" SIP application. i hope this can help -- agung On Tue, 11 May 2004, Laurent BURGY wrote:Hi, Can i define my own response codes in an extension for a more precise meaning? Is there any class reserved for this use? In general, is there any " private " codes? I couldn't find this nor in the SIP RFC, nor in the HTTP RFC? thx in advance, Laurent. _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors_______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors |
